Shingles

I have shingles. I got them because I’m immunocompromised, which is a result of chemotherapy. The lesions are on my neck, around and in my ear, and on my scalp. Luckily, I’m on valaciclovir, an antiviral drug, which is making the worst of the pain go away. I’m not sure if this will affect the pending stem cell procedure – I’ll find out on Monday 27th.

Dental check and respiratory function test tomorrow at Peter Mac and St Vincent’s Hospital, respectively.
